Cisco SPA122

Completiamo oggi il piccolo approfondimento iniziato con lo  SPA112 relativamente alle nuove proposte di Cisco di cui vi ho dato una anticipazione in un precedente post, ossia il nuovo SPA122.

Analogamente al modello SPA112 il nuovo device di Cisco è un ATA per il mercato SOHO che dispone di due porte RJ11 per collegare apparecchi telefonici analogici ma si distingue per la disponibilità di funzionalità di router e di due porte Ethernet 100BASE-T RJ-45  per la connettività WAN e LAN.


L'installazione dell'apparecchio è abbastanza semplice  e la sua configurazione risulta facilitata dalla disponibilità di una comoda interfaccia WEB dalla quale è possibile gestire sia i parametri voce per la connessione ad un fornitore di servizi VoIP, sia i parametri relativi al routing ed al networking.

Ogni apparecchio telefonico collegabile alle porte RJ11 può essere gestito su una linea  VOIP indipendente opportunamente configurata. Ciò permette agli utenti di utilizzare al meglio i loro apparecchi telefoni esistenti e di modulare i costi della migrazione verso il VOIP con una soluzione estremamente conveniente e di solida affidabilità.

Il prodotto pur essendo estremamente compatto nelle dimensioni offre numerosissime funzionalità che lo rendono compatibile la maggior parte degli standard "voce" e con gli standard internazionali delle trasmissioni dati.




Cisco SPA122 ha il suo utilizzo d'elezione nell'ambito di offerte di servizi residenziali, home-office e small business, ma anche nei casi di disponibilità di ambienti IP PBX.

In sintesi:
  • Consente di gestire un servizio Voip su basi di qualità ed affidabilità con un set completo di funzionalità attraverso una connessione Internet a banda larga
  • Dispone di funzionalità audio di ottimo livello grazie ad un avanzato sistema di "garanzia" della qualità del servizio (QoS) ed alla avanzatissima tecnologia di implementazione del Session voce Initiation Protocol (SIP)
  • Supporta la gestione fax in modo affidabile, con trasmissione simultanea di voce e dati
  • Include due porte telefoniche standard, ciascuna collegabile ad un fax o ad un telefono analogici cui può essere assegnato un numero di telefono indipendente.
  • Supporta pressochè la totalità degli standard del settore sia in termini di tecnologia gestione di dati sia in termini di funzionalità telefoniche comuni quali ID chiamante, chiamata in attesa, e segreteria telefonica
  • Dispone di una interfaccia web di semplice utilizzo per la configurazione dell'apparato ed il provisioning
